Reading Glasses Postal Book Club

I’ve found I really enjoy postal book clubs, however, when my Progressive Book Club fell through, I started a new one, much smaller, with listeners from the podcast “Reading Glasses”.

Here’s how this works, each month, I’ll receive a package with a book, and a journal. The book will have been read by the person sending it to me, and everyone who has read it previously will have journaled their thoughts. My pick, was “Dangerous Girls” by Abigail Haas. You can find the books that I read through this year long journey. If I do a full review, you can find the link here, however, if not, you can always find my thoughts jotted down here. However, this is the place to find the reading list.

August 2017 – “The Vegetarian” by Han Kang

September 2017 – “Vampires in the Lemon Grove” by Karen Russell

October 2017 – “My Best Friend’s Exorcism” by Grady Hendrix (i actually marked this book as DNF because I have a real hard no on demonic things unfortunately).

November 2017 – “Priestdaddy” by Patricia Lockwood

December 2017 – “At the Water’s Edge” by Sara Gruen

February 2018 – “Meddling Kids” by Edgar Cantero

March 2018 – “Never Let Me Go” by Kazuo Ishiguro

April 2018 – “St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised By Wolves” by Karen Russell

May 2018 – “The Blue Sword” by Robin McKinley

June 2018 – “Watership Down” by Richard Adams
